SKETCHING CLOTHING DESIGNS
This week, I spent time sketching clothing designs, something I used to enjoy a lot when I was younger and wanted to become a fashion designer. Revisiting this creative activity felt nostalgic and relaxing, and it allowed me to express ideas freely without pressure. Designing outfits on paper helped me reconnect with my creativity and appreciate how much I still enjoy visual design and fashion.
This experience connects to CAS outcomes such as creativity, self-expression, and reflection. Sketching reminded me of the importance of making time for creative outlets, even when my main focus has shifted to academics. It also helped me reflect on how my interests have evolved over time while still influencing who I am today. Overall, the experience showed me that creativity remains an important part of personal growth and balance.
