DIARY ENTRY
This week I decided to write a diary entry for the first time in a long while. When I was younger, I used to keep a diary regularly, so picking it up again felt nostalgic and a little strange. Writing down my thoughts reminded me of how calming it can be to express myself freely without worrying about judgment. It was like having a conversation with myself and noticing feelings I usually overlook.
This connects to CAS outcomes of reflection and awareness of self. Taking time to write allowed me to pause, think about my day, and process emotions in a clearer way. It reminded me that journaling can be a meaningful tool for self-care and mindfulness, even as I’ve grown older. It felt good to reconnect with something I enjoyed as a child and see how it still benefits me now.
