EVENING RUN
This week I went for a 6 km evening run around Balsys Lake, which took me just under 50 minutes. The route was both refreshing and challenging, with a steady pace that pushed me but also allowed me to enjoy the scenery around the water. I felt proud to set a new personal record for the 5K during this run—it was motivating to see my consistency and effort pay off in a measurable way.
This activity connects to CAS through perseverance and commitment, since running regularly requires both discipline and motivation. It also ties into awareness of well-being, as I reflected on how much better I felt mentally and physically afterward. The experience reminded me that progress doesn’t come all at once, but through steady effort, and that even a single run can boost both health and confidence.
