CHRISTMAS COOKIES

This week I baked Christmas cookies as part of getting ready for the holidays. I measured and mixed the ingredients, shaped the dough, and decorated the cookies once they were out of the oven. The process was festive and fun, and it felt rewarding to see (and taste) the final result. Sharing them with my family made the activity even more meaningful.

This connects to CAS outcomes of creativity and reflection. Baking required focus and patience, especially when it came to decorating the cookies, but it also gave me the chance to enjoy the holiday spirit in a hands-on way. It reminded me that traditions like this can bring people together and that even small creative activities can make the season feel more special.
