MAKING JEWELRY
This week I spent some time making jewelry, experimenting with beads, wire, and simple tools to create unique designs. It was a creative and relaxing process, where I could play around with different colors and patterns to see what looked best. Even though some pieces didn’t turn out the way I imagined, it felt rewarding to hold something I had made completely by hand.
This activity connects to CAS outcomes of creativity and perseverance. Jewelry making required patience and focus, especially when small details were tricky to manage. It also encouraged reflection, since I realized how much joy there is in slowing down and creating something tangible. Whether or not the pieces are perfect, the process itself was meaningful and gave me a deeper appreciation for handmade work.
