A SIMPLE WALK

This week I went on a walk to get some fresh air and clear my head. Even though it wasn’t a long distance, it gave me the chance to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and step away from the usual busyness of the day. I noticed small details around me—the sounds of nature, the rhythm of walking—and it made the experience feel calming and refreshing.

This connects to CAS outcomes of reflection and awareness of well-being. The walk reminded me that self-care doesn’t always have to be complicated; even something as simple as moving my body and being outside can make a big difference. It was a quiet but meaningful way to take care of both my physical and mental health.
