A SHORT WALK

This week I went on a 1 km walk around my neighborhood. It was a simple activity, but it gave me the chance to slow down and clear my head after a busy day. The short distance made it easy and refreshing, and I enjoyed noticing small details around me that I usually overlook when rushing—like the sound of birds, the movement of leaves in the wind, and the rhythm of my own steps.

This experience connects to CAS through reflection and awareness. Even a short walk showed me the value of taking time for myself and how important it is to stay mindful of both physical and mental well-being. It was a reminder that meaningful experiences don’t always need to be big or complicated—sometimes the simplest actions can make a difference in how I feel.
