THIRD RUN
Today I went on my third run of the year, and I’m really starting to feel the difference. Compared to my first and even second run, my stamina has noticeably improved—I was able to keep a steady pace for longer and didn’t need as many breaks. It wasn’t just easier physically, but also mentally. I didn’t overthink it or stress about how far I would go. I just ran, and let myself enjoy the movement, the fresh air, and the sense of progress. It felt good to see that sticking with it, even at a slow pace, is really paying off.
This run connected strongly with the CAS learning outcomes of perseverance and personal growth. I’ve been showing up consistently and staying committed to something that once felt really hard. Each run gives me a chance to push a little more and reflect on how small improvements build over time. It’s also been a way to clear my head and feel more balanced. Running is becoming more than just exercise—it’s becoming a way to take care of myself, build confidence, and stay grounded during busy weeks.
