STUDY GROUP FOR MOCK EXAMS
With mock exams coming up, I decided to organize a study group to help us all feel more prepared and less stressed. I invited a few classmates, and we met at a cafe to go over key topics, quiz each other, and share notes. We focused on the subjects that were the most challenging for us and took turns explaining different concepts. It was really helpful to hear how others understood the material, and we kept the atmosphere supportive and productive. We even managed to have a few laughs in between revision sessions, which made everything feel more manageable.
This experience allowed me to engage with several CAS learning outcomes. I showed initiative and planning by organizing the group and creating a structure for how we would use our time. The session involved strong collaboration, as we worked together, helped each other, and shared resources. It also made me more aware of the importance of support systems during stressful academic times. Studying as a group reminded me that we’re all in this together, and that learning doesn’t have to be a solo experience—it can be a shared effort that makes everyone feel more confident and prepared.
