Second run of this year
Today I went on a run, and it felt like a big step forward. It was only my second run this year, but compared to the first one, it went so much better. I felt more in control of my pace, my breathing was steadier, and I was able to run a longer distance without needing as many breaks. The weather was just right—not too hot, with a cool breeze—and that made the experience even more enjoyable. It felt good to move, clear my head, and notice how my body is slowly getting stronger with effort.
This run helped me connect with several CAS learning outcomes. I showed perseverance and commitment by continuing an activity I had only just started earlier this year, and noticing real improvement was really motivating. I also recognized the importance of personal growth, not just in physical ability, but in mindset—being more patient with myself and focusing on progress instead of perfection. It reminded me that even small steps can build into something bigger if I keep showing up.
