Easter Egg Dyeing
Over the weekend, I spent time with my family dyeing eggs for Easter, and it turned out to be a really fun and creative experience. We gathered around the kitchen table with different colors, patterns, and decorating tools, letting our imaginations take over. It was a nice break from school stress and a great opportunity to spend quality time together. We experimented with different techniques—using natural dyes, stickers —which made each egg unique. The process was a bit messy at times, but seeing the vibrant eggs come to life made it totally worth it.
This activity allowed me to engage with several CAS learning outcomes. I demonstrated creativity by experimenting with various dyeing methods and exploring new ways to decorate the eggs. Working alongside my family helped strengthen collaboration and communication skills, as we shared ideas and encouraged one another throughout the process. I also developed greater awareness of the importance of balancing academic responsibilities with meaningful personal activities that bring joy and relaxation.
