Creating Handmade Bracelets

This week, I spent time making handmade bracelets for two of my friends. I used colorful beads and carefully designed a blue one and a pink one, each to match their personalities and favorite colors. It was a calming and creative activity, and I enjoyed thinking about how happy they would be when receiving something made with care. Making the bracelets also gave me a break from schoolwork and allowed me to relax while doing something thoughtful and fun.

Through this experience, I achieved several CAS learning outcomes. I demonstrated creativity by designing and crafting unique bracelets with attention to color and pattern. I also showed commitment to service by putting time and care into making something meaningful for others. Additionally, I developed new skills through hands-on work with beads and practiced fine motor coordination and patience. This experience helped me reflect on the value of giving and the positive effect small acts of kindness can have on friendships and well-being.
