Creating Personalized Bookmarks

 This week, I focused on a creative project: designing and making my own bookmarks. I wanted to make something that really felt like “me,” so I incorporated my favorite elements—pink, flowers, and a big bow. I came up with the idea of combining these features to create a unique bookmark, which turned out even better than I imagined. It was exciting to see my design come to life, and I felt proud of the final product.

Through this experience, I achieved several CAS learning outcomes. I undertook new challenges by experimenting with different materials and design ideas, testing my ability to turn a creative idea into reality. I also demonstrated creativity and personal expression, as the bookmark design reflects my own style and interests. Finally, this activity encouraged me to reflect on the process of bringing a vision to life and reinforced the value of trusting my creative instincts.
