Learning a New Dance: Preparing for Competition

 This week in ballet, we started learning a new dance. It's been challenging because we have to learn it from an old video with poor quality, which makes it harder to see the movements clearly. Despite the difficulty, I’m trying my best to follow along and improve each time. Along with learning the new choreography, we’re also preparing for our upcoming competition, which is happening next month.

Through this experience, I achieved several CAS learning outcomes. I undertook new challenges by learning a complex dance from a difficult resource, pushing myself to adapt and improve. I also demonstrated perseverance and commitment, staying focused and motivated despite the challenges of working with an unclear video. Additionally, this activity is helping me collaborate with others, as my dance friends and I are working together to perfect the dance for our competition next month.
